July 27: Another active fire day with extreme crowing, running and spotting to the east toward South Bull Canyon and Shumway Road, and southwest toward Coleman Creek and Coyote Creek. The fire was running in approximately 1-mile stretches multiple times throughout the day. A critical resource deficit remains. California Complex Incident Management Team 4 arrived today and will assume command of the Coleman Creek Fire on July 28.

July 26: Continued winds pushed the fire mostly east, northeast, and southeast, up to Warm Springs Reservoir and across the Warm Springs Reservoir Access and Juntura-Riverside roads today. On the northern perimeter, containment lines are holding along Highway 20 E at Juntura and to the west from there, as well as directly south of Juntura.

Highway closures ARE IN PLACE - follow www.tripcheck.com for closure information in the fire vicinity.

July 25: The Coleman Fire was extremely active all day, and well into the night. From its origin southwest of Warm Springs Reservoir, it pushed hard north and east above the reservoir, across the Malheur River, and toward Highway 20 E and Juntura. Later in the evening, fire spread south and east below the reservoir and toward Riverside. Engines and dozers have been engaged throughout and completed a successful burnout around Juntura proper to the south for a strong containment line there.
