VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was hospitalized after being shot in Visalia Friday night.

Police say it happened just after 10 p.m. in the 3300 block of West Laurel Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and the suspect, a 22-year-old man.

The victim was transported to the hospital, and the 22-year-old was arrested.
