PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 51-year-old woman from Porterville was arrested earlier this week after Porterville Police say one of their detectives was propositioned for sexual services while working undercover.

The police department announced on Friday that 51-year-old Liyan Sun Winters of Porterville was taken into custody following the incident on Tuesday.

Officers say detectives had become aware of suspected prostitution occurring at a massage parlor in Porterville, with customers reporting that they were being propositioned for sexual services in exchange for more money.

An undercover detective went to the business at 62 West Putnam Avenue, known as “Therapeutic Massage,” to determine whether or not customers were being propositioned. The detective reported that they were also propositioned, resulting in Winters’ arrest.
