MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An online fundraiser set up to help one of the victims of Tuesday’s two-vehicle crash in Madera County has described his injuries as “not survivable.”
In the GoFundMe fundraiser verified by YourCentralValley.com, the author says he sustained a “catastrophic brain injury” following the crash at Avenue 17 and Road 28 1/2.
According to the CHP, the incident on Tuesday evening began when a woman driving a white 2018 Chevrolet Malibu east on Avenue 17 collided with a black 2019 Jeep Wrangler, which was going south on Road 28 1/2. Officers say the Chevrolet went through a stop sign and collided with the Jeep, causing both vehicles to strike a nearby home.
The 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene and was identified by the coroner’s office on Thursday.
In the online fundraiser for Bobby Criado, they describe him as now “receiving compassionate comfort care.”

Costs associated with his care and services are immense. Support from our community during this time would be an answer to prayer.
