12 hours: A monsoon surge will continue to bring the threat of showers and thunderstorms to southern and eastern Utah through the weekend. While coverage will be more isolated across northern and western valleys Utah, humidities will remain above critical levels. An ongoing monsoon surge will continue to bring the threat of heavy rainfall to much of southern and portions of eastern Utah through at least the weekend, and potentially into early next week. For areas more removed from this surge across northern and west central Utah, coverage of any thunderstorms will be less across valley locations. Humidities in the 20-30% range across the northern and western valleys will further increase this weekend to around 30-40%.   

24 hours: Potential for fire growth to the N/NE with wind and topography alignment, and threaten the community of Clover Valley and Rush Valley, Highway 36 corridor and sections of private property and critical infrastructure, United States Army Depot Toelle within 2-mile radius of the current fire footprint, Sensitive species habitat and grazing allotment impacts critical forage loading will be impacted. Additional fire spread in that direction would increase the threat to the property of and Rush Valley Community and private property along highway 36 corridor. The fire perimeter has a very inconsistent burn scar left with areas of unburned brush and flashy fuels.  

48 hours: Minimal fire growth expected in this period. Interior islands and pockets of fuel may still be consumed, and smoke dispersal may impact nearby communities, United Sensitive States species Army habitat Depot and Tooele grazing within allotment 2-mile radius of the current fire footprint, sensitive species habitat and grazing allotment impacts critical forage loading could be impacted. The fire perimeter has a very inconsistent burn scar left with areas of unburned brush and flashy fuels.
