Traffic Controls Planned Next Week on Highway 140

MARIPOSA COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has announced traffic controls for construction and maintenance work scheduled along State Route 140 in Mariposa County next week.

The following traffic impacts are planned:

State Route 140

Whitlock Road to Old Allred Road: Highway shoulder closure for utility work from Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Foresta Road to Yosemite National Park: Highway shoulder closure for survey work from Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, 2026, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible.
