
SELMA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A teenager who was killed in an electric scooter crash in Selma last week was named by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office on Monday.
According to police, they responded to a traffic collision at Rose and Highland avenues on Wednesday, where they learned a teen on an e-scooter was hit by a vehicle.
Police say the teenager was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The teen was later pronounced dead.
The victim was named on Monday as 15-year-old Manuel Hernandez of Selma.
Officers say the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene.
