MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An illegal fire nearly burned down two Madera warehouses on Tuesday.

Crews say they responded to the burn behind a storage facility owned by Evan’s Feed & Livestock Supply near downtown.

By the time they arrived, multiple piles of livestock supplies were actively burning and threatening two warehouses.

Fortunately, crews were able to contain the fire within the piles with minimal damage to the warehouses.
