
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Firefighters are battling a fire that broke out near Downtown Fresno at a warehouse Thursday afternoon.
The fire was first reported around 3 p.m. Firefighters responded to Hamilton and L streets.
Fresno Fire PIO Josh Sellers said that when firefighters arrived, they saw that power lines were compromised and that metal cylinders were exploding, which caused them to take a defensive approach.
The warehouse is considered a total loss. There were no injuries reported.
Hamilton and L Street are closed, and firefighters will be on scene for a couple of hours. This is an ongoing investigation.
