Winds during the incident on Friday were from the south/southwest at 10-15 mph with occasional gusts. Relative humidity was 30-35 percent. 

On Saturday, some areas of elevated fire weather conditions will be possible across the fire location. Expect humidity values to fall to a minimum of 33 percent Saturday afternoon. Winds will generally
remain steady with a southerly direction, but some gustiness can be expected during the afternoon and evening. Overall, abnormally hot conditions will be in place for Saturday.

FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING

On Sunday elevated to near critical fire weather conditions develop. West winds in the morning will switch out of the northwest in the afternoon and become gusty into the evening. A strong cold frontal boundary will shift winds significantly and bring in much breezier conditions. Expect afternoon minimum humidity values on Sunday to be around 14 percent. Little recovery in humidity values can be expected overnight Sunday night. The combination of low humidity values and extremely breezy conditions will pose a critical fire weather day for Sunday. Hence, a Fire Weather Watch has been issued for Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening.
