MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Merced that took place in 2023.

The shooting happened on July 16, 2023, in the 1200 block of R Street, near 12th Street in Merced.

Police said that 30-year-old Eruvey Deoro Muzquiz has been identified as a suspect, and they say he killed a 47-year-old man.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest. He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
