
PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 22-year-old man from Porterville was arrested Wednesday after being accused of distributing child pornography, the sheriff’s office announced.
Deputies identified the man as 22-year-old Dustin Ramsey. They arrested him following a three-month investigation by detectives from the sheriff’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit, following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Ramsey was taken into custody after a search warrant at his home on the 600 block of W. Westfield Street in Porterville.
He was arrested for possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material. He was booked into the South County Detention Facility. Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact Detective Javier Montoya at 559-802-9563 or 559-733-6218.
