MARIPOSA COUNTY, CA — Motorists traveling through Mariposa County should prepare for temporary traffic delays next week as the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) implements one-way traffic controls along portions of State Route 132 and State Route 140 for scheduled construction and maintenance work.
According to Caltrans, the following traffic impacts are planned:
State Route 132 (SR-132)
One-way traffic control will be in effect from Josephina Way to Zarzamora Street for utility work beginning Sunday, February 8, through Friday, February 13, 2026. Work is scheduled daily from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
State Route 140 (SR-140)
One-way traffic control will be in place from Cedar Lodge to the SR-140 Temporary Bridge for scaling work beginning Friday, February 6, through Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Work hours are scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect delays of approximately 5 to 10 minutes and are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible.

Caltrans notes that all work is scheduled as listed but remains subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather conditions, equipment availability, or other construction-related issues.
