FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a Fresno city FAX bus Thursday morning in Fresno.

According to Fresno Police, the bus hit the person in the road shortly before 9 a.m., near Olive Avenue and 9th Street. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for pain in his leg and arm.

The bus driver is cooperating with the investigation. The pedestrian was jaywalking at the time of the collision, officers say.
