MARIPOSA, CA – It is a very happy holiday season indeed for the John C. Fremont Healthcare District! Stacey Kuzak, CEO, received a $42,020 check from Jill Harry, Beth Tomsick, and Mike Wichmann, representing the JCF Hospital Foundation, to purchase a state-of-the-art ventilator ($25,000), hospital bed ($11,500), and two IV pumps ($2,760 each). All of these items are essential for quality patient care and safety.

The Foundation thanks everyone who donated to its ventilator fundraiser through the Black and White Ball, Giving Tuesday, Science on Tap, or in some other way during the campaign. Your generosity was outstanding, enabling the purchase of the ventilator. It also allowed us to allocate additional Black and White Ball earnings to purchase three more critical pieces of equipment. All will make a tremendous difference in patient care.

The Healthcare District has identified further needs. It has requested five additional IV pumps and three more hospital beds.

Please consider an end-of-year gift to the Hospital Foundation to put towards these items. Gifts can be made at jcfhospitalfoundation.org/donate, or by sending a check to JCFHF, PO Box 1093, Mariposa, CA 95338.

The Foundation wishes everyone a very happy, healthy holiday season.
