FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The back door to a Clovis restaurant was smashed open early Tuesday morning after a break-in at the taqueria, which was all caught on security camera.

Karlitas Carniceria & Taqueria on Armstrong Avenue and Herndon Avenue in Clovis was broken into at around 3:30 a.m.

The surveillance video, which can be seen in the video player above, shows someone pounding an object into the back door, breaking a hole in the glass big enough to climb through.

According to the restaurant, the suspect tried to open the registers and broke into an office, stealing a safe.
