

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – One Kings County library will be closed for about a year, and another will be moved to a temporary location while the site is being renovated.
The Kings County Library system posted on social media on Wednesday saying that the Lemoore branch and the Hanford branch will be closing for renovations starting Sept. 15.
The Lemoore Branch Library will remain closed until the fall of 2026. Officials have not given an exact date for when they will reopen the Lemoore branch.
The Hanford branch will be operating out of a temporary location beginning Oct. 7. The temporary branch for the Hanford location will be at 110 S. 11th Avenue in Hanford and will have normal hours of operation.
