The Dollar Lake Fire will transition to a type 3 incident command team. The fire was held east of Green River Road overnight with burn operations. The plan for today is to keep the fire east of the road and scout potential line locations to east and north. 

The Dollar Lake Fire was discovered at Dollar Lake in the Green River Lakes area of the Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest on Aug. 21. The size of the fire is currently estimated at 1,388-acres and the cause is undetermined. The fire is burning in timber. 

The Sublette County Sheriff's Office issued an emergency evacuation order for the Dollar Lake area.

Aviation resources, engines, and forest and Sublette County personnel are on scene working to suppress the fire.

Please avoid the area to allow firefighting personnel safe and quick access to the area.
