The La Plata Fire was reported on August 17, 2025, at 5:46 p.m. The wildfire is located on the Pike San Isabel National Forest Cimarron and Camanche Grasslands on the south side of Twin Lakes Reservoir approximately 4 miles southwest of Leadville, Colorado.
