Music On The Green Wraps Up With 2 Special Performances!

Mariposa, Calif. – The Mariposa County Arts Council’s Music on the Green concert series wraps up next weekend with two very special performances! After a season filled with incredible music and weather, we’re closing out the summer with a grand finale that is sure to be the highlight of the Summer!

Sugar Pine

On Friday,  August 22, the final weekend of Music on the Green,  the band Sugar Pine will perform.  Based out of eastern Madera County,  Sugar Pine has performed for the Sugar Pine Mountain Railroad for over forty years.  Sugar Pine covers popular songs from many genres and will surely be a crowd-pleaser. 

Roger Perry

On Saturday,  August 23, Music on the Green will again feature Roger Perry as the Finale of the concert series. Revered and loved musician Roger Perry is based out of Fresno and has been a mainstay of the central valley music scene and beyond for decades. The final evening of Music on the Green with Roger Perry is always a highlight of the season and an evening not to be missed!

All performances begin at 7 p.m. at the Mariposa County Art Park, located at 5013 Hwy 140 in historic downtown Mariposa. Parking is available along 4th and 5th Streets, with accessible pedestrian access via the lower 5th Street parking lot through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry.

Tips for the performers are appreciated and encouraged.
