DOJ: Fresno man indicted after selling guns to undercover agents

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man from Fresno was indicted for selling 10 firearms to undercover agents, as well as manufacturing and dealing with firearms without a license, the U.S. Department of Justice said Thursday.

A five-count indictment was given to 20-year-old Bee Her of Fresno. Her was charged with unlawful transfer of firearms in violation of the National Firearms Act as well as dealing and manufacturing firearms without a license.

Her sold 10 firearms to undercover agents in three transactions, according to the DOJ. He also sold firearms despite being told by an agent that the firearms were going to Mexico. Additionally, he possessed 12 privately manufactured firearms receivers and six auto-sear machine gun conversion devices for purposes of sale.

If convicted, Her faces a maximum statutory penalty of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
